Report: Heat On Travis Scott After Injuring Cody Rhodes At WWE Elimination Chamber

Travis Scott reportedly has heat after legitimately injuring Cody Rhodes at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.

Scott was part of the post-main event angle that saw John Cena turn heel and align with The Rock, with Scott featured in the segment as part of Rock’s entourage. During the angle, Scott slapped Rhodes in the side of the head, legitimately bursting the Undisputed WWE Champion’s eardrum and giving him a black eye. A report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has claimed that some backstage in WWE were angry for how it played out, with it noted that Scott shouldn’t have been out there or put in such a position in the first place.

The chart-topping rapper is believed to be undergoing wrestling training for a match later down the line, but even then this was considered no position for someone with such limited knowledge of the business. It has been suggested by some that Scott was potentially told to make any attack on Rhodes look good, but in this case it was too good.

Whether this heat on Scott changes any future plans for him and WWE remains to be seen.
