Report: Injured AEW Wrestler Expected To Return Very Soon

Expect to see an injured former champion back in AEW soon

AEW’s injury list has been stacking up recently, but it looks as though it might have one less name in the very near future.

Thunder Rosa hasn’t competed in a match since all the way back in August 2022, over one year ago. She has been briefly seen on AEW programming announcing her injury and then making a return to TV just prior to the creation of the brand new AEW Collision show, citing frustrations along with the likes of Miro that they desired more TV time. However, this didn’t bring about a return to the ring due to still being out with an injury.

In a daily update provided by Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline, it was revealed that they were told a Thunder Rosa return is expected “very shortly”.

Rosa was ruled out with her injury whilst she was reigning as the AEW Women’s World Champion - a title she kept ahold of until November 2022, finally relinquishing the gold with interim reigns retroactively changed to legit reigns.
