Report: Jacob Fatu To Receive WWE Push

WWE planning to push Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu will be receiving a push when he debuts on WWE TV, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio

"He's signed with WWE and he's going to be starting soon and getting a push," Meltzer said.

It emerged on WrestleMania Sunday that Jacob Fatu had been telling people that as of Wednesday, April 3, he had signed with WWE, a move which led to him being pulled from Joey Janela's Spring Break. It was then reported that Jacob Fatu had signed with WWE and he was backstage at night two of WrestleMania 40.

If Jacob Fatu will be added to The Bloodline is unknown, nor is it clear when he will debut on WWE TV. He is the cousin of Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa.

In recent years, Jacob Fatu has been a part of Major League Wrestling but he finished up with the promotion in February. The 31-year-old held the MLW World Heavyweight Championship for 819 days before he dropped the belt to Alexander Hammerstone in October 2021. Fatu has performed on the indies since leaving MLW, teaming with Zilla Fatu in Game Changer Wrestling.

As it stands, Jacob Fatu's final pre-WWE match was a Triple Threat with Matt Riddle and PCO on April 5 at Battleground Championship Wrestling.
