A new report has shed some light on the injury status of WWE star Jade Cargill, after it was previously reported that she is dealing with a legitimate injury that could keep her out of action for around three months.

According to PWNexus, Jade is currently suffering from a neck injury and the three-month recovery time is a 'best case' scenario. Cargill could, in fact, be out for a year, meaning she would miss WrestleMania 41.

Cargill is currently one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions with Bianca Belair in the team's second reign.

The duo last defended their titles (against The Judgment Day's Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez) on the November 11 episode of Raw, which was the last match Cargill competed in before WWE ran their injury angle (on the November 22 edition of SmackDown) to explain her impending absence.

In September, Cargill spoke of the difference in schedule between AEW and WWE, describing her post-WrestleMania schedule as 'very, very brutal'.

Earlier this year, the 32-year-old proclaimed herself to be the 'unicorn' of professional wrestling.
