Report: John Morrison Believed To Have Signed With AEW, Potential New Name Revealed

John Morrison is reportedly believed to have signed a deal with AEW

John Hennigan, the artist formally known as John Morrison (amongst many other names) is believed to have signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling.

Per a report from PWInsider, Hennigan was at Wednesday’s live Dynamite in Chicago, and recorded an angle for Rampage set to air on June 23.

Formally known as John Morrison, Johnny Nitro/Mundo/IMPACT, and Johnny Elite during his inaugural three-match run with the company in 2022, the report states that moving forward he could go by the moniker Johnny Television/Johnny TV.

Hennigan has spent the majority of 2023 working for MLW and Lucha Libre AAA, the latter of which have an ongoing working relationship with AEW. Hennigan’s wife Taya Valkyrie signed with AEW in March 2023, and if Hennigan has indeed become ‘All Elite’ it remains to be seen if the two are paired up on AEW TV.

A former ECW and IMPACT World Champion, Hennigan has also held gold in WWE, AAA, MLW, and Lucha Underground, amongst others.
