Report: People Within WWE Pushing For LA Knight To Win Money In The Bank

LA Knight being pushed for Money in the Bank win by some backstage in WWE

LA Knight has bounced back from being thrust into a managerial position to becoming one of the most over in-ring talents in all of WWE, with many fans hoping he can go on to glory in the company.

Knight recently qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank match, with many tipping the former TNA World Champion for the win. Various reports have suggested that Knight is a heavy favourite within WWE going into the match on July 1, and a new report from PWInsider suggests that whilst no definitive plans for the MITB winner have been leaked, there are those backstage heavily pushing for LA Knight to win and have his ‘break-out’ moment.

After signing with NXT in early 2021, Knight was pushed during the tail-end of the ‘golden age’ of NXT, memorably feuding with Cameron Grimes over the Million Dollar Championship. Upon receiving his main roster call-up in Summer 2022, Knight was renamed Max Dupri and set up the Maximum Male Models stable, but reverted to LA Knight and became an in-ring talent once more shortly after.
