Report: Kevin Owens Will Be Out Of Action For "A Few More Weeks" In WWE

He might not be back straight away though...

Kevin Owens hasn't appeared on WWE TV since the April 6 episode of Monday Night Raw when he cut a pre-taped promo. It emerged over the weekend that K.O. has been absent from TV because he suffered an ankle injury during his match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36. Owens told Canadian network RDS that he didn't know if his ankle was sprained or fractured, but he will undergo x-rays in the coming days to find out.

Dave Meltzer provided more details on the injury on F4WOnline. He revealed the former Universal Champion didn't even know he suffered an injury until the next day as he didn't feel any pain when the match was taped, and only realised something was wrong when his ankle was swollen when he woke up the next morning. Meltzer also noted the injury won't keep K.O. out for much longer and he will be cleared to compete in "a few more weeks."

Whether Owens decides to travel to the Performance Center for Raw remains to be seen, but he said over the weekend that he had opted to stay at home with his family because of the coronavirus pandemic.
