Luchasaurus was reportedly considered for an All Elite Wrestling return at the recent Revolution 2025 pay-per-view, with the former AEW World Tag Team Champion having been absent due to illness.
Per a report from Fightful Select, there was some consideration to have Luchasaurus involved with the show. While not confirmed, Luchasaurus' involvement potentially would have been as part of the final stretch of the main event bout when Christian Cage cashed in his AEW World Championship match contract before ultimately falling short when facing Jon Moxley and Cope.
Luchasaurus was confirmed to be backstage at Revolution, and at one point there was an alternative ending considered for the show, with more run-ins planned including some absent stars. It is assumed that Luchasaurus was one such name factored into these plans before they were abandoned.
The Patriarch heavy hitter has not been seen since September 2024, having suffered from a life-threatening case of double pneumonia. In recent months, Luchasaurus has been said to be doing ‘much better’, and reportedly credits AEW medical and Tony Khan for possibly saving his life.
There is no word on when Luchasaurus could make his return to an AEW ring, although if he was pencilled into plans then it’s safe to assume that it could happen soon.
