Report: Main Event Of WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 Revealed

What will go down at WWE Elimination Chamber?

In news that will shock few, Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is "as confirmed as it can be" for the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported.

The match has yet to be officially announced and "everything is subject to change" in WWE, Meltzer noted, but major changes to plans ahead of pay-per-views have been less frequent since Paul "Triple H" Levesque became Chief Content Officer in July 2022.

Elimination Chamber will emanate from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Saturday, February 18, close to Zayn's hometown of Laval, Quebec. As the name suggests, the pay-per-view will also feature an Elimination Chamber match but it is unclear what title will be on the line or if it will be a number one contender's bout. Speculation has suggested WWE will split the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39, with Cody Rhodes challenging for the WWE Title and another competitor facing Roman Reigns for the Universal belt.

A match between Zayn and Reigns comes about after The Great Liberator turned on Reigns to close out the Royal Rumble, hitting him from behind with a steel chair. The Bloodline then beat down Zayn to end the show during a segment that saw Jey Uso walk out on the faction.
