Report: MLW Reaches Out To Braun Strowman

Will The Monster Among Men head to MLW?

A big name could debut in Major League Wrestling later this year.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that MLW has been in touch with "high profile talents" and the promotion would look to have some of them on the roster for their new season in September.

Braun Strowman's representatives are one of the parties Court Bauer's promotion has spoken to, but if The Monster Among Men will end up in MLW remains to be seen.

The former Universal Champion's services wouldn't come cheap. Strowman's manager Nick Antocelli has reportedly quoted $20,000-25,000 for a three-hour appearance from Strowman at an independent wrestling show. Braun would also require first-class air travel and two nights at a hotel all paid for. Meals and ground transportation would also need to be covered.

Strowman previously wrestled in WWE for 8 years but he was released a couple of weeks ago. The former Wyatt Family member was earning over $1 million per year at the time of his release and WWE reportedly believed he was two years past his peak.
