Report: More WWE Releases To Take Place Soon

More WWE releases happening soon

More WWE releases look to be on the way.

Following a report from Dave Meltzer which noted that WWE releases would be taking place more regularly due to developmental talents being evaluated every 90 days, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast also noted WWE would be letting wrestlers go on a regular basis, with the next set of releases to take place soon.

Following an initial discussion on his podcast, Zarian tweeted: "I want to clarify a convo we had on the air today regarding more releases. What I was told: 'Talent is constantly evaluated on progress. Expect more releases soon & regularly' (Regarding Developmental talent). I made an error by saying 'very soon.'"

WWE held their latest set of releases on Friday, April 29 and 10 talents were let go, including Dexter Lumis, Dakota Kai, Malcolm Bivens, and Persia Pirotta.

Harland was also let go, with reports noting that WWE didn't believe the former college American football player had made enough progress inside the squared circle since he signed with the company in early 2021.
