Report: New WWE Faction Selling A Ton Of Merchandise

A new stable is selling plenty of WWE merchandise

A new faction is bringing in the big bucks for WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the Latino World Order has proven popular with fans and the group's merchandise is selling "very well" at the moment.

"They sell Eddie merchandise, and the thing that hit it right now is because the LWO was Eddie Guerrero's gimmick in WCW. It was more than just doing the three amigos. They're actually doing... there's no doubt that it's a total copy, it's the same t-shirt, and they bring up that it was Eddie's group. It was 100%. It was the LWO gimmick. They're selling merchandise very well right now. That is 100% meant as something Eddie Guerrero popularised right down to the team losing every match practically," Meltzer said.

A new version of the LWO formed in WWE ahead of WrestleMania 39, with the stable composed of Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Zelina Vega. Escobar had previously been the leader of Legado del Fantasma.

The original iteration of the LWO only lasted from October 1998 until January 1999 in World Championship Wrestling and was led by Eddie Guerrero. Rey Mysterio was a reluctant member of the stable and he would later form the Filthy Animals with Guerrero.
