Report: Nick Jackson Thought He Broke His Leg On AEW: Dynamite

His injury status remains unclear...

Last night's edition of AEW: Dynamite opened with The Young Bucks & SCU vs. The Acclaimed & The Hybrid2 in an eight-man tag team match. All four teams were given time to showcase themselves and The Bucks & SCU picked up the win with the Best Meltzer Ever.

At one point during the match, Jack Evans attempted a 630 Senton to Nick Jackson but the AEW World Tag Team Champion got his knees up. Nick could be seen limping slightly afterwards and he didn't Superkick Griff Garrison or Brian Pillman Jr. during the main event angle.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio's Bryan Alvarez, Jackson thought he had broken his leg which is why he was limping slightly.

Alvarez said: "Story I heard is that in the opening match, Jack [Evans] went for the 630 or whatever and Nick got his knees up. And whatever happened happened, but Jack landed so hard on his legs that Nick thought he broke one of his legs. So, if you watch the rest of the match, Nick's doing the rest of the match thinking his leg might be broken. And he came out at the end of the show and he did the whole angle, and he's trying not to limp and didn't throw the Superkick because his leg hurt. Hopefully, he's alright."
