Report: Nobody In WWE Has Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Some positive news...

Dave Meltzer reports in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that nobody within WWE has tested positive for the coronavirus. He did not, however, indicate any known persons who have been tested, or how many may have been.

This news comes on the heels of reports that over the preceding days, a number of WWE performers have been pulled from the TV and WrestleMania tapings at Orlando's Performance Center, due to possible illnesses.

SmackDown Tag Team champion The Miz was pulled from the tapings due to an apparent illness and not used. Dana Brooke fell ill and was quarantined, causing her to be removed from the SmackDown Women's title match scheduled for WrestleMania 36.

Both Rey Mysterio and Murphy were also pulled from their planned involvement in WrestleMania, due to reported illnesses.

The most notable non-participant is Roman Reigns, who was scheduled to take part in the Universal title match. Reigns pulled himself from the show, due to the potentially-greater effect that the coronavirus could have on an immuno-compromised person like himself.
