Report: NXT Stable Set For WWE Main Roster Call-Up
More new faces for WWE’s main roster could be coming from NXT
Amidst a raft of returns, call-ups, and brand switches since Triple H took over WWE creative, it seems like ‘The Game’ isn’t done yet, as a top NXT faction are expected to be called up to WWE’s main roster in the near future.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer suggested that the entire Legado Del Fantasma faction are in line for a call-up - news that comes as little surprise considering how the faction was written off of NXT TV.
As seen on recent editions of NXT 2.0, Santos Escobar has been banished from NXT after losing his NXT career in a match against Tony D’Angelo. However, upon making his his way out of the promotion the former Cruiserweight Champion told Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, and Elektra Lopez that he wasn’t leaving them behind.
This follows news that Indi Hartwell could be set for a main roster call-up, whilst former NXT talents such as Dexter Lumis and Johnny Gargano were recently brought back to WWE and put straight onto main.
