A tweet from TNA star Joe Hendry has led to speculation that he will appear in next year's WWE Royal Rumble on February 1, while a subsequent report from Fightful Select has revealed that there's an internal push for Hendry to win the TNA World Championship.

In response to a fan's tweet saying he "fell off the radar", Hendry replied "Kinda crazy how poorly that tweet will age in about 4 months." - which lines up roughly with the date of the Royal Rumble event in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Fightful's follow-up report states:

"This led to a lot of online speculation that Hendry will appear in the WWE Royal Rumble, which takes place in February. Before that, he's taking on Nic Nemeth in a TNA World Title match, that numerous people in the company have pushed for him to win.

"Those that we've spoken to in TNA say that Hendry looks to be a focal point in their show in 2025, despite the buzz and attention going towards Hendry and the Royal Rumble today. TNA sources also claim that Hendry's contract with the company runs at least until late 2025.

"Joe Hendry is participating in a Detroit media tour with the Hardy Boyz next week to promote TNA Bound For Glory on October 26 at the Wayne State Fieldhouse."

Several matches have already been set up for Bound For Glory including the presumable main event between Nemeth and Hendry.
