Last week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown was headlined by the 25th anniversary of Triple H's debut in WWE. The segment included Triple H having his water taken off him before he could spray it into the air, some comedy between The Game and Shawn Michaels, and tributes to The King Of Kings from Road Dogg and Stephanie McMahon, among others.

The celebration ended after Vince McMahon made his own tribute to his son in law, but many considered the promo to be somewhat odd as The Boss switched between praising and berating Triple H at a moment's notice.

A reason for the promo has seemingly been revealed, however, as WrestleVotes received a text from a source which said Vince has had a bit of a "screw it" attitude recently. This comes after WrestleMania was cancelled and the XFL filed for bankruptcy.

The source told WrestleVotes: "That is what he's been like the last 2 weeks or so I'm seeing. This pandemic, Mania cancelled, XFL getting killed has finally got to him and he's at the 'f**k it' part of it all. 'Screw it Vince' could be wild."

Vince's odd behaviour had already been noticed around the office as Mike Johson reported on PWInsider Elite Audio that employees at WWE Headquarters have been trying to stay out of the chairman's eyeline as they don't want to incur his wrath.
