Report: Roman Reigns Not Expected To Miss Any Scheduled Dates Due To WWE SummerSlam Injury

Roman Reigns not expected to miss dates due to injury at WWE SummerSlam

Roman Reigns reportedly suffered an injury during his Tribal Combat main event match with Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam 2023, but it’s believed that Reigns will not miss any significant time from the road.

A report from Fightful Select says that Reigns is not expected to miss any of his scheduled dates as of the time of writing, and his injury is not believed to be a back issue.

Earlier reports suggested that Reigns’ injury was hip or back related, with the injury believed to have occured during a Jey Uso tope suicida spot roughly five minutes into SummerSlam’s main event.

Whilst the details of Reigns’ injury and the severity of it have not been publicly disclosed, Reigns’ schedule will likely help with his rehab, with the ‘Tribal Chief’ only wrestling once per month on average in 2023. Reigns has been working a part-time schedule since signing a new deal with WWE in 2022.

Reigns has not been advertised for upcoming WWE ‘premium live events’ Payback, Fastlane, or Survivor Series, but this could all change.
