With no obvious challenger for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Roman Reigns is not currently scheduled to be involved on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 39.

According to WRKD Wrestling, plans could change but Reigns is not currently planned for the show. The Bloodline will still be involved in a segment that causes further tension to build between Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. Issues within The Bloodline began to resurface on the Raw after WrestleMania 39, with Roman Reigns seemingly disappointed in The Usos for losing the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the Show of Shows.

WRKD Wrestling tweeted: "Please keep in mind that things are currently volatile and things can change on a whim: Currently, Roman Reigns is not scheduled for #Smackdown tomorrow night, but there is slated to be a segment that leads to further tension between Paul Heyman and Jey Uso."

Another unannounced segment planned for SmackDown, according to WRKD Wrestling, will feature LA Knight and Xavier Woods. The 2021 King of the Ring winner defeated Knight on a recent episode of SmackDown.

Advertised for tonight's show is an address from Triple H, Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs. Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest, Sami Zayn vs. Jey Uso, and The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium.
