Report: Roman Reigns Not Scheduled For WWE Backlash

No Roman Reigns at WWE Backlash, it seems

As Roman Reigns continues to operate on a part-time schedule as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, The Tribal Chief is set to miss WWE's next pay-per-view.

WWE will head to Puerto Rico for Backlash on Saturday, May 6 for their first major event after WrestleMania 39. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns will not be involved on the card in San Juan, as of the plan on Monday, April 3.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will be working other major events over the next few months. WWE are set to return to Saudi Arabia on May 27 for King & Queen of the Ring before they head to the United Kingdom on July 1 for Money in the Bank from The O2 in London, England.

No matches have been announced for Backlash as of yet but Rey Mysterio & Bad Bunny vs. Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest has been teased for the show, as has Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes after Brock's heel turn on the Raw after WrestleMania 39.
