Report: Ronda Rousey Not Scheduled To Appear At WWE WrestleMania 37

Rousey's WWE hiatus looks set to pass the two-year mark

Ronda Rousey hasn't stepped inside a WWE ring in almost two years since she dropped the Raw Women's Championship to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35.

Speculation has continued to swirl around Rousey's future ever since she started her hiatus and Stephanie McMahon recently said she was "very hopeful" that Rousey will "come back home to WWE."

Rousey's return won't be anytime soon, though, according to Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer.

Meltzer said: "I was kinda told she's not doing it this year but Ronda's another one where I think if it was in Los Angeles she would have done it... You could do it, but it does make more sense for her to be in Dallas at next year's WrestleMania or Los Angeles the year after than this year just because it's still, no matter what, a scaled-down event."

The Rowdy One's WWE contract reportedly expires on April 10, 2021, which is night one of WrestleMania 37. If both sides agree to a contract extension ultimately remains to be seen.
