Update On Edge's Planned Opponent For WWE WrestleMania 37 (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

Who will Edge take on?

With Edge winning the 2021 men's Royal Rumble, the present choices for his championship match at WrestleMania 37 are WWE champion Drew McIntyre and Universal champion Roman Reigns.

On Monday evening, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported on WWE's current plans for Edge's match, writing, "Not sure when this will be officially announced, but Roman Reigns vs. Edge is the planned main event at WrestleMania."

Meltzer's report also states that WWE isn't 100 percent at this time on who women's Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair is going to face at the event.

Edge won the men's Royal Rumble from the number one position, lasting over 58 minutes in the fray, and making three eliminations. He threw out rival Randy Orton to secure the win.

The Rumble win is Edge's second. He previously won the 2010 Royal Rumble, last eliminating John Cena. He went on to challenge World Heavyweight champion Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 26, but lost.

Reigns has been Universal champion since winning the belt at Payback on August 30. At Sunday's Royal Rumble, he successfully defended the title against Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match.
