Report: Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox Officially Called Up To WWE SmackDown

The duo debuted last week

Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox are reportedly now considered a part of the WWE SmackDown roster backstage in WWE.

Shotzi and Nox made their WWE main roster debut last Friday, appearing on SmackDown for the first time and defeating WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina in a non-title bout.

The status of the NXT duo had been speculated about since their first showing on Friday Night SmackDown, with some wondering if their appearance was a one-off. But, according to PWInsider, that is not the case.

The report says that the pair have been called up to WWE SmackDown and are now part of the blue brand's roster going forward.

Shotzi had most recently been teaming with Ember Moon on NXT, and had been an NXT Tag Team Champion with her former partner. Nox, meanwhile, returned to the black-and-gold brand last week after a lengthy absence due to injury, attacking Candice LeRae.

With WWE also teasing Toni Storm's move from NXT to SmackDown on last week's show, it appears the women's division on the blue brand is getting an influx of new talent.
