Report: Talent Spotted In Orlando Amid WWE Return Rumours

Talents could be set to return on tonight's WWE NXT

The Authors of Pain look to be closer to resurfacing on WWE TV.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Paul Ellering has been spotted in Orlando, Florida. NXT TV, of course, is taped at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on Tuesday nights, with the show airing live on the USA Network.

There has been talk in recent weeks of the Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering returning to WWE, with reports noting they re-signed with the company at some point in 2022. Plans reportedly call for AOP and Ellering to appear on WWE TV soon, most likely as part of NXT.

Paul Ellering is a legendary pro wrestling manager, having managed The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom. He returned to WWE TV in 2016 as the manager of the debuting Authors of Pain and guided them to the NXT Tag Team Championships. The tag team ditched Ellering upon moving to the main roster in 2018, at which point AOP were briefly managed by Drake Maverick before eventually linking up with Seth Rollins in a faction that also included Buddy Murphy.

AOP were released by WWE in 2020. They tried to launch their own promotion, Wrestling Entertainment Series, in 2022 but the first show was initially postponed and then cancelled.
