Report: Thunder Rosa Was Backstage At AEW Dynamite

Thunder Rosa was backstage at the December 21 edition of AEW Dynamite in San Antonio, Texas, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Rosa resides in the area.

If the former AEW Women's World Champion was backstage to discuss future plans or just visiting is currently unknown. Thunder has been out of action since August with a back injury and as of last word, she won't be back inside the squared circle until around February. 

Rosa initially remained AEW Women's World Champion despite the injury but she was stripped of the title following the Full Gear pay-per-view in November. This led to Toni Storm's interim reign being recognised as an official run with the belt, while Jamie Hayter was also confirmed as AEW Women's World Champion. 

Thunder Rosa has been featured on AEW TV since the summer of 2020 and she signed with the promotion last year. 

Also backstage at Dynamite was former WWE Women's Champion Jazz and her husband Rodney Mack, who had multiple runs in WWE between 2002 and 2007.
