Shawn Michaels Addresses Possibly Having One More Match

Shawn Michaels on one last match

Outside of one match at Crown Jewel 2018 where he teamed with Triple H to take on The Brothers of Destruction, Shawn Michaels has been retired since he lost a Streak vs. Career Match to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26.

That hasn't stopped speculation about a possible in-ring return for The Heartbreak Kid but Michaels ruled out getting back in the squared circle during a chat with Culture State

"I've had that final match. No, no. Father time waits on no man. I'm good. I'm unbelievably happy with my career and it is now time to watch the next generation flourish," Michaels said.

While Shawn may be retired, Kevin Owens approached Michaels in October about coming out of retirement to face him. The WWE Hall of Famer reportedly admitted he had thought about having one more match after he saw KO's battle with Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38. Michaels ultimately told Owens that he didn't think he should have one more match, though.
