Report: Top Name To Leave NWA Soon
The NWA women's division will take a major hit
It was revealed earlier this year that one of the top names in NWA’s women’s division, Kamille, was approaching the end of her contract with the promotion. The former NWA Women’s World Champion has still not re-signed to the company after giving her notice in October, and according to a report from Fightful Select, it is looking more unlikely that she will do so.
The report states that come January 1 she will leave the NWA, and she even turned down a six-month extension option that would have seen her receive a boost in pay. Kamille rejected this in exchange for parting ways and going in a new direction.
Kamille last competed for the NWA back in mid-November where she and Thom Latimer lost in a Mixed Street Fight to the “Looks That Kill” duo of Bryan Idol and Natalia Markova. It looks as though this will mark her last appearance in the NWA for the foreseeable future. Kamille dropped the NWA Women’s World Title back in August, shortly before she seemingly made the decision to leave.
