Report: Tyler Bate Cleared For WWE Return
Tyler Bate reportedly cleared for WWE in-ring return
Feb 5, 2025
Tyler Bate has reportedly been cleared for a return to WWE in-ring competition, with the former NXT UK Champion having been out of action since July 2024.
Bate tore his pec during a tag match with Pete Dunne against Hank & Tank on an episode of WWE NXT, with Bate later undergoing surgery to correct the issue. A report from PWInsider states that Bate has been cleared to return, and that the February 24 edition of Raw has been marked internally in WWE as a potential return date for Bate.
Reports earlier in 2025 stated that Bate was extremely close to a return, and it remains to be seen if he will resume tagging with Pete Dunne as the New Catch Republic, or if the two will go their separate ways.
Bate’s last Raw outing came in May 2024, with Bate mainly working the likes of WWE Speed and Main Event prior to his and Dunne’s short-lived return to NXT. Still only 27 years old, Bate has been with WWE since 2016, holding multiple titles across his stints in NXT UK and NXT .
