Report: Update On Bryan Danielson's Injury

The Wrestling Observer has given an update on Bryan Danielson's injury

The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided an update on the injury status of AEW star Bryan Danielson.

The American Dragon has not wrestled AEW's Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 29 and was recently removed from the upcoming Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts shows (on June 26 and 29 respectively).

Writing in the Observer, Dave Meltzer noted that it was believed that Danielson suffered a concussion in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing.

He went on to say that Danielson was supposed to be booked on Forbidden Door, but that concussions are unpredictable and him not passing protocol a month after suffering the concussion is 'not a good sign', especially given his history.

Danielson, while wrestling in WWE as Daniel Bryan, was forced to retire in February 2016 due in large part to concussion-related issues.

Danielson will be replaced at Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts with the latest member of Blackpool Combat Club, someone who has yet to be named.
