Charlotte Flair Rumble

At the Royal Rumble, Charlotte Flair outlasted 29 other Superstars and emerged victorious in the Women's Royal Rumble match. This only added to The Queen's legacy as she is already a 10-time Women's Champion and one of the Four Horsewomen of WWE.

Many fans were underwhelmed by Flair's victory as they believe she has been overexposed in the Women's Championship picture since she moved to the main roster in 2016. Fans seemingly don't need to worry, however, as

we

reported yesterday that Charlotte was not scheduled to face either Becky Lynch or Bayley at WrestleMania 36.

Now,

Dave Meltzer has revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio

that Flair is currently booked to face NXT Champion Rhea Ripley at The Showcase Of The Immortals. This would set a precedent for the Rumble as previous winners have exclusively challenged for titles on the main roster.

Meltzer said: "Right now, the WrestleMania match that’s listed on the schedule is Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair so she’s not going to face Bayley."

Mike Johnson at PWInsider

has also added fuel to the fire of Ripley vs. Flair as he confirmed that The Queen is scheduled to be at Full Sail University for tonight's episode of NXT.

For the avoidance of doubt, Johnson penned: "PWInsider.com is told that Charlotte Flair is scheduled to be in Orlando, Florida for this week's episode of WWE NXT. That would indicate she will be challenging Rhea Ripley for the NXT Championship at Wrestlemania 36."
