Report: Update On WWE NXT Talents Following Unexpected Main Roster Debuts

Are more NXT talents heading permanently to the main roster?

Two NXT talents made their shock main roster debuts on the May 19 edition of Friday Night SmackDown as Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz reunited to take on Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. Feroz and Leon weren't on SmackDown for long, however, as they were pinned in just over a minute by the NXT Women's Tag Team Champions.

The quick loss suggested that Leon and Feroz were not going to be permanent fixtures on the main roster and that is reportedly the case. According to Fightful Select, Feroz and Leon have not been called up to the main roster and they are slated to continue working at the WWE Performance Center, at least for now.

May 19 was also Yulisa Leon's first match since August of 2022. She had been out of action with a knee injury.

While Feroz and Leon won't be on SmackDown going forward, several former NXT talents made their way to the main roster in the 2023 WWE Draft. Along with Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, Cameron Grimes and Grayson Waller now find themselves on SmackDown, while the likes of Odyssey Jones and Indi Hartwell are on Raw.
