Report: Update On WWE WrestleMania 37's World Title Matches

Plans have yet to be finalised as Royal Rumble 2021 draws closer

Back in December, multiple reports surfaced about the WrestleMania 37 card. They noted nothing was close to being locked in for The Showcase Of The Immortals, but that Keith Lee and Brock Lesnar were under consideration to be in the WWE Championship match while the likes of Daniel Bryan, Goldberg and even Drew McIntyre were being discussed as possible opponents for Roman Reigns.

No further reports have emerged about the 'Mania card, though, and there have been no obvious clues on WWE TV about who could be in line for a world title shot on April 10 and April 11.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is because WWE is yet to decide on a direction for the world title matches at 'Mania. Two Superstars are currently under consideration to face Roman Reigns, but as of this past week, Shinsuke Nakamura wasn't one of them despite his recent push. The plans for the WWE Title match have also yet to be locked in.

Meltzer did note that WWE's plans change daily at the moment, though, so the world title matches may well be altered a few more times in the coming months.
