Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide held a TV taping on Saturday, May 3 in Mexico City, Mexico, which played host to the in-ring debut of the new version of La Parka.
The third version of La Parka impressed in his in-ring debut as they teamed with Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr. to defeat the Tokyo Bad Boys of Kento, Nobu San, and Takuma. The new La Parka retained many of the character's trademarks, including Michael Jackson's Thriller as their entrance music.
According to Record.Mx, WWE were impressed by the new La Parka, in particular his charisma and connection with the crowd. WWE were also happy with La Parka's in-ring work. Whether the new La Parka will appear on WWE TV is unknown, but he has been featured in promotional materials for WWE NXT x AAA Worlds Collide.
La Parka - AKA Brazo de Oro Jr. - is the third character to use the gimmick. The original La Parka, Adolfo Tapia, continues to wrestle as LA Park, while the second La Parka, Jesus Huerta Escoboza, passed away in January 2020 following an in-ring injury.
La Parka III is reportedly under contract with WWE, along with several other AAA talents, including AAA Mega Champion and former WWE Champion Alberto El Patron.
