Report: WWE Tag Team Likely To Undergo Name Change

A name change looks to be on the way for a WWE tag team

Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza's re-emergence as a tag team on WWE TV continues to draw closer as the cousins have continued to work through their issues following a split in July after Humberto walked out on Garza after their loss to Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer, with Carrillo irritated by Garza's constant pursuit of women.

Angel and Humberto are set to return to WWE NXT on September 5 and the plan right now, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, is for Garza and Carrillo to remain a tag team on the Tuesday night show. If they gather steam, the plan is to bring them back to the main roster and "an idea batted around" is for the team to eventually join the LWO.

Angel and Humberto are also reportedly likely to drop the 'Los Lotharios' name they have used since the summer of 2021 as they look set to be more focused on wrestling as opposed to chasing women with their refreshed characters.

It was previously noted the plan is for Carrillo and Garza to be a popular babyface tag team when they do head back to the main roster.
