CM Punk may be involved in the World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania 41.

According to WrestleVotes on a Backstage Pass Q&A, WWE want CM Punk to be involved in a world title match at WrestleMania. WrestleVotes ultimately believes this would see Punk involved in the World Heavyweight Championship picture.

"I've heard so many things on Punk, especially as of late with the Roman stuff being thrown in there. But the one main factor that I've heard almost all year is they want him to be involved in a world title match. I don't know how the puzzle pieces are going to fit but they want him at the top. I don't think it'll be with Cody, so that's one title match out the window. Does he fit into the other one? I'm going to say yes at this point. I don't think it'll be Gunther, Bill [Apter], that's the thing," WrestleVotes said.

CM Punk has yet to challenge for a world title since he returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2023. He is currently in a feud with Seth Rollins and they will face off for the first time in several years at the WWE Raw Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025.

Gunther is the current World Heavyweight Champion and he has held the belt since SummerSlam.
