The new version of Los Perros del Mal may eventually have the group's iconic entrance theme across Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide TV.
False Finish reported: "AAA/WWE are actively working to get Perros as the theme song for Perros del Mal but nothing is close to being finalized as of right now."
'Perros' by Cartel de Santa was a legitimate hit in Mexico when it was released in 2003 and currently has 123 million views on YouTube, with the song contributing to Los Perros del Mal's popularity.
The newest version of Los Perros del Mal debuted on the Saturday, June 20 edition of AAA TV and took out the promotion's top babyface in El Grande Americano. The group is composed of Daga, Angel, Berto, Bronco Nima, and Karmen Petrovic.
Los Perros del Mal is one of the biggest factions in Lucha Libre history and was created by Perro Aguayo Jr. in 2004 after he turned on El Hijo del Santo in CMLL. The faction debuted in AAA in 2010 as part of an invasion angle and the faction remained featured in AAA until 2019, beyond Perro Aguayo Jr's sudden passing in 2015.
It emerged following the group's revival on AAA TV that WWE had received the blessing from Perro Aguayo Jr's family to bring back Los Perros del Mal. LuchaBlog has noted that Perro Aguayo Jr's cousin Kahn del Mal is believed to be in charge of the Perros del Mal name and logo for the family. Kahn also worked behind the scenes for AAA before the promotion was sold to WWE and Fillip, and he may still work for AAA, but that has not been confirmed.
