REVEALED: LA Knight's Original WWE WrestleMania 40 Plans

LA Knight's original WrestleMania plans have been revealed

LA Knight has been on a whirlwind of a year in WWE, going from a heel at the bottom of the card to challenging for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Roman Reigns’ last two defences of the gold. Knight’s popularity has surged, though when it comes to WrestleMania season, his direction for the marquee show isn’t yet known.

In a Q&A on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp responded to a question regarding LA Knight’s potential opponent for WrestleMania. He noted that there were discussions within WWE to book LA Knight against current reigning WWE United States Champion Logan Paul at WrestleMania 40. The two came to blows during the build to the Money in the Bank PLE last year, engaging in both a war of words and a physical encounter. It was noted that this was indeed the plan for WrestleMania, though right now it isn’t known if this plan has changed at all.

Despite his popularity booming prior to last year’s WrestleMania, LA Knight wasn’t booked for the WrestleMania 39 event, instead just appearing in the crowd. Knight is yet to have a match at a WrestleMania.
