REVEALED: What Happened After WWE Royal Rumble Went Off The Air

What did Cody Rhodes do after WWE Royal Rumble?

Cody Rhodes might be finishing the story after all at WrestleMania 40 as The American Nightmare became the first wrestler to pick up back-to-back Royal Rumble wins since 1998 as he eliminated CM Punk last to win the 2024 men's Royal Rumble.

Cody celebrated to end the show, doing the usual point at the WrestleMania sign following a tribute to Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. After the Royal Rumble went off the air, Rhodes apologised to the fans in attendance for not winning at WrestleMania 39 before reflecting on his father Dusty Rhodes' popularity in Florida.

"Tampa, St. Pete, did you have a great time tonight? Guys I owe you an apology. I am sorry about what happened at WrestleMania 39. But we're going to WrestleMania 40. It's been a long night I won't keep you here, an amazing show, an amazing crew, an amazing production. Sometimes when I come to Tampa, when I come to St Pete, sometimes I try and stay and keep to myself, the reason is - this is Dusty territory. So I thank you very much, for making it a Cody territory. I love you guys all so much. Have a great night and I'll see you next time," Rhodes said.

Cody also pointed directly at Roman Reigns following his Royal Rumble win and Rhodes noted in the post-show press conference that he plans to challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania
