Rey Mysterio Pulled From WWE WrestleMania 41, Replaced By Rey Fenix

A late change has been made to the WWE WrestleMania 41 card.

Following the announcement that WWE have bought Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide on the WrestleMania pre-show, Rey Mysterio revealed that he is not medically cleared to face El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41. Mysterio then announced that Rey Fenix would be his replacement in the match.

Mysterio sustained an injury on SmackDown when he teamed with Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee against Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers, sitting out the final portion of the match because of the injury. Mysterio was then shown being helped to the back following the match.

El Grande Americano - Chad Gable's alter ego - has been feuding with Rey Mysterio over the past several weeks. A change was recently made to Americano's presentation after complaints from Mexican fans.

The updated WrestleMania 41 night one card is as follows:

• Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
• Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso - World Heavyweight Championship
• Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair - WWE Women's Championship
• LA Knight (c) vs. Jacob Fatu - United States Championship
• The War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) (c) vs. New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) - World Tag Team Championships
• El Grande Americano vs. Rey Fenix
• Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
