Ric Flair Hits Back At Comments From Dutch Mantell

Ric Flair Has Responded To Comments Made Dutch Mantell About His Last Match

Following Ric Flair’s Last Match, the Nature Boy has received quite a lot of criticism for the match even going ahead, especially when considering some of the scary and potentially life threatening happenings in the ring. Someone who has spoken out against it is Dutch Mantell, though Ric Flair isn’t happy about his comments.

When speaking on Storytime with Dutch Mantell, the former Zeb Colter discussed Ric Flair’s Last Match;

"I've had people write me and, seriously, people thought he was gonna die. I think he passed out a time or two in there. He doesn't even remember it. Ric Flair now is trying to leave a legacy and he should have left it alone, or changed a lot of things in that match, because his legacy now is tarnished. I don't know. Ric Flair is full of s**t and always has been.”

It should be of no surprise to anyone that Flair was unwilling to let these remarks go by without making a comment, as he took to twitter to hit back with his own scathing words;

“Thank God They Used The Word Veteran & Didn’t Call You A Legend. Just A Miserable Old Wrestler Trying To Make A Buck. And BTW, You Never Had A Legacy To Begin With. WOOOOO!"

Ric Flair wrestled his last match in 2022 after an eleven year hiatus, teaming up with Andrade El Idolo to defeat the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in what many deemed to be one of the worst matches of the year.
