Ric Flair Thinks He Would Be A Lot Better If He Had One More Match

One more match for Ric Flair?

While Ric Flair had his "Last Match" on July 31, teaming with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, few believe The Nature Boy is actually retired, with Flair having said since his final bout that he will never be done in the ring.

Now, Flair has said he could have another match right now and be a lot better than he was in his "Last Match."

Speaking about Ricky Steamboat's recent in-ring return, Flair said on his To Be The Man podcast:

"When I spoke to him, we were trying to get him to work with us. He indicated to me back then that he didn't think, health-wise, he was ready to do it [make an in-ring return]. It's what makes him feel good. Like I say about myself, I could wrestle again right now too, and I'd be a lot better than I was in the Last Match because when you're gone away that long you forget about little things that'll make a difference and you spend too much time getting in shape for it that you don't think about little things like dehydrating. I was so into the training part that I forgot about little things. I think he should do what he wants to do. He's Ricky Steamboat, there's only going to be one Ricky Steamboat, whether it's good or bad, it's not going to affect his legacy. He's the best babyface in the history of the business."

Ric Flair revealed he passed out twice during his final match due to dehydration. He also did a spot where he faked having a heart attack.

Flair mentioned this week that he would be willing to lace up his boots one more time as an entrant in the 2023 Men's Royal Rumble. Find out more here.
