Rob Van Dam is happy that Paul 'Triple H' Levesque will soon be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a singles act. Triple H is already in the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of D-Generation X.

Levesque will be the headline inductee of the 2025 class. The news was reportedly a genuine surprise to Levesque himself, as Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker told him about it while he was on stage during a WWE Town Hall meeting.

Discussing The Game's upcoming HOF induction during a recent edition of his 1 Of A Kind With RVD podcast, Van Dam said:

"Man, I think that's awesome. I like that it is synchronised with his image getting an upgrade. So like, if this would have happened fifteen years ago, I'm sure people would have cried nepotism, and thought that he ended up voting himself in and this and that. But now that he gets credit for single-handedly making the business better and all these changes that he's getting accredited for. He's now, I think, seen in the best light that he ever has been in before. And I think he's vibing in the highest frequency that he ever has before. And I think that it's awesome that his being inducted into the Hall of Fame coincides with that. It's perfect".

Van Dam may be happy for him now, but he has been outspoken about the frustration he felt while working with Triple H in the early 2000s.
