Rob Van Dam Explains Differences Between Vince McMahon & Tony Khan

Rob Van Dam compares Vince McMahon and Tony Khan

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has recently experienced what working for Tony Khan is like, having wrestled two matches for AEW.

During a recent interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda, RVD was asked to outline the differences between Khan and Vince McMahon. Starting with McMahon, Van Dam said:

"I can only give my perspective, it's not like I spent the night with these guys. Vince McMahon is intimidating, a lot of people feel like he's a very powerful figure when you're talking to him, you know that. His energy, to me anyway, reeks of power and importance and I've always felt that way about Vince."

With regards to Khan, The Whole F'N Show offered:

"Tony's extremely humble, very kind, very complimentary and does not have the energy that he's more important than anyone else. He seems more like he's happy to be there and appreciative. I don't know if saying 'like a fan' is the right word."

Asked by Apter if the term 'fan' would be appropriate, the former ECW Television Champion replied:

"I think that's maybe one way to put it, in a good way and that he's there trying to do something from that perspective with everything that's in his power, making everything happen and putting everything together. He's obviously doing the job that he's doing, so that's good."

It is unknown when or indeed if Van Dam will wrestle for AEW again. However, Tony Khan is 'very open' to bringing the ECW icon back in the near future, while Van Dam himself is open to having a part-time AEW run.
