Rob Van Dam's Next AEW Match Revealed

Mr. Wednesday Night will be back in action on AEW Dynamite.

Rob Van Dam will be in action for AEW once again when he competes on the October 25 edition of Dynamite.

On last night's episode of the show it was announced that the WWE Hall of Famer will team with HOOK. Though their opponents have not yet been named, next week's Dynamite will take place in Philadelphia, the former stomping grounds of ECW.

RVD and HOOK joined forces to defeat Angelo Parker and Matt Menard on the September 23 edition of Collision. Prior to that, Van Dam lost an FTW Rules FTW Title match to Jack Perry (on the August 9 Dynamite).

The WWE Hall of Famer has made no secret of the fact he would be open to a part-time run with Tony Khan's promotion. Khan, meanwhile, recently expressed a strong desire to work with the Whole F'N Show in the near future.

While the two sides are clearly willing to do business, Van Dam has hinted that he may have lost a WWE booking because of his decision to work with AEW. The 52-year-old believes his plans for WrestleMania 40 weekend may have been cancelled as a response to him showing up on the competition's television show.
