Roman Reigns Not Scheduled For WWE House Show

Roman Reigns won't be making a rare house show appearance after all

Roman Reigns looked set to appear at only his second WWE house show of 2023 on Saturday, May 20 when WWE heads to Fayetteville, North Carolina as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was advertised for the show. WWE have since stated that Reigns was incorrectly advertised for the event, however, and the Bloodline leader will not be in Fayetteville this weekend.

WWE issued the following statement (H/T PWInsider):

"Incorrect promotional material was released that advertised Roman Reigns in Fayetteville this Saturday, May 20. Roman Reigns will not be in Fayetteville. Refunds will be available at point of purchase until 7:30 pm ET the day of the event."

The only house show that Roman Reigns has worked in 2023 so far was in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on March 4. The show was built around the rematch between Reigns and Sami Zayn and saw the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion retain his title against the former Bloodline member.

Reigns has rarely worked house shows since re-signing with WWE in April 2022. His new deal gave the 37-year-old a part-time schedule and he is expected to work even fewer dates as 2023 progresses
