Roman Reigns To Soon Be Written Off WWE TV

Roman Reigns may not be far away from another hiatus from WWE programming.

Reigns was laid out by Bronson Reed with multiple Tsunamis on the post-SummerSlam edition of Monday Night Raw, with his shoes being stolen once again. There was speculation the spot may have set up the latest Reigns' absence from WWE TV, but the Wells Fargo Center has announced that Reigns will be in Philadelphia for the August 18 episode of Raw.

Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN has reported that Reigns will begin filming of the Street Fighter movie in September, with PWInsider also noting the former WWE Universal Champion is scheduled to be on the set of the movie in Australia for four weeks beginning on September 2. Should production run on time, Reigns will finish filming of Street Fighter the week of September 26.

While Reigns may be gone from WWE TV for a month, the company are confident filming of Street Fighter won't interfere with the company's storytelling. Reigns is set for a major role in the movie, portraying Akuma.
