Roman Reigns Vs. Goldberg Added To WWE Elimination Chamber

For the Universal title

Bill Goldberg has returned to WWE once more, and will challenge Universal champion Roman Reigns for the title at Elimination Chamber in 15 days.

Goldberg appeared on Friday evening's SmackDown, confronting Reigns. He told Reigns that he "acknowledged him" - as his next victim. He then formally laid down his challenge for the title match.

Goldberg last wrestled at Crown Jewel on October 21, defeating Bobby Lashley in a falls count anywhere match.

The Universal title match for WrestleMania 36 in 2020 was originally to have pitted Goldberg against Reigns. However, Reigns opted out due to the pandemic, so Goldberg instead wrestled Braun Strowman, dropping the belt to him in a brief match.

The current card for WWE Elimination Chamber, taking place Saturday, February 19 at the Jeddah SuperDome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is as follows:

* WWE World/Elimination Chamber: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins vs. Riddle vs. Austin Theory vs. AJ Styles

* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Goldberg

* Raw Women's: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lita

* SmackDown Tag Team: The Usos (c) vs. The Viking Raiders
