Rumour Killer On WWE Plans For Randy Orton

A rumour killer on The Legend Killer.

After almost 18 months on the sidelines, it looks as though Randy Orton is set to return to WWE.

A recent report suggested that The Viper will be added to the men's WarGames match at Survivor Series on November 25 as a member of the babyface team.

The report further suggested that WWE were due to announce the 14-time world champion's participation ahead of time in order to quell the expectations of fans anticipating the WWE return of CM Punk.

After news of Orton's impending return spread, a rumour went around various wrestling Instagram pages that the 43-year-old was set to win a major title once he was back in the fold.

Fightful Select quickly shut that rumour down, noting that the topic has yet to be broached within WWE's creative team.

At one point it was thought that Randy would have to stop wrestling due to the severity of his back injury, but the past few months have seen more positive updates on his condition.

Should he return at Survivor Series, it would be The Legend Killer's first in-ring appearance since the May 20, 2022 edition of SmackDown.
