Rumour Killer On WWE Return For Charlotte Flair

She had been advertised for an upcoming SmackDown taping.

While Charlotte Flair's recovery after undergoing major knee surgery is reportedly going well, she is not set to make her return to WWE television anytime soon.

A graphic for the March 29 episode of SmackDown - which takes place at The Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut - advertised The Queen as appearing. Despite being on the sidelines, Flair's likeness being featured on the graphic has led some fans to wonder whether she will be making an appearance in a non-wrestling capacity.

SEScoops reached out to WWE, who duly put that rumour to bed. According to their report, WWE confirmed that Charlotte is still on the injured list and is not booked for the March 27 taping.

It should be noted that it was Mohegan Sun using the graphic in question to promote the event, not WWE. The graphic also features Carlito, Jimmy Uso, LA Knight, Austin Theory and Bianca Belair.

Flair tore her ACL, MCL and meniscus after awkwardly falling from the top rope during a match with Asuka on December 8. Initial reports stated that she would be out of action until October.

The 37-year-old is scheduled to make appearances at the WWE World interactive experience during WrestleMania week.
