Update On WWE WrestleMania 40 Ladder Match Lineup

The Six-Pack Ladder Match at WrestleMania 40 for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships has begun to take shape. 

Champions Finn Balor and Damian Priest, of course, had already been announced for the match and WWE held a number of qualifiers on Monday Night Raw to advance to the Ladder Match. By the end of Raw, Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth), #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano), and New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) had punched their tickets to the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title match.

Awesome Truth advanced to WrestleMania with a win over Indus Sher, while New Day defeated Otis & Akira Tozawa of Alpha Academy. #DIY earned a victory over the Creed Brothers to move on to WrestleMania. 

The final two competitors will be determined on future episodes of SmackDown through two mini-tournaments. Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne are scheduled to take on Berto & Angel for one of the spots. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson are scheduled to face Austin Theory & Grayson Waller, while Authors of Pain will square off with the Street Profits, with the winners of those two matches facing off for the final spot in the Ladder Match. 

Judgment Day's Damian Priest and Finn Balor are in their second reign as Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. They regained the belts from Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso on the October 16 episode of Raw and they have held the belts for 155 days. 

WrestleMania 40 will emanate from Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7.
